gcj-4.6-base software package provides GCC, the GNU Compiler Collection (gcj base package), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcj-4.6-base
gcj-4.6-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcj-4.6-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcj-4.6-base *
You will get with gcj-4.6-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
